Thailand Computing Science Curriculum (explained in English)

Led by IPST Thailand and academic partners, a new national curriculum on Computing was introduced in 2017, with a 3-year roll-out starting in 2018. The focus has shifted from occupation skills to life skills in the digital world, with an emphasis on “thinking” — specifically #Computational_Thinking. The curriculum has 3 main strands: Computer Science (CS), ICT, and Digital Literacy (DL).

Part 1: philosophy & overview

In this video, I’ll explain the philosophy and the curriculum overview (in English).

Part 2: examples of activities

Part 2 will be about the details of each strand, along with examples of learning units and activities from the textbooks written by IPST.
